Assists in the troubleshooting of technical and/or potentially hazardous processes and equipment. Works under the direction of a supervisor. Mechanical Industrial Technician Senior ($32.24 - $44.98 Hourly) Performs skilled mechanical work in the installation, modification, maintenance, fabrication and repair of Metro equipment and structures. Takes on an advanced role of working and troubleshooting mechanical equipment at Metro. Assists in the development of preventive maintenance and training activities. Assists with the planning and layout of jobs, coordinates, directs, and may train other crew members and Mechanical Apprentices. Works under the direction of a supervisor.
