- The Analog RFIC SPICE Simulation Engineer will model radiofrequency (RF) analog integrated circuits (ICs) for exploring design tradeoffs and predicting future performance.
- This position is part of the Mixed Signal Solutions department which focuses on the design and integration of leading-edge mixed-signal systems including customized integrated circuits (ICs) and specialized printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Primary responsibility is to create broadband circuit models for RFICs∯*∯ Two stages of models are necessary: pre-layout (to explore design variations and trade space) and post-layout (to correlate with measured results and predict future performance).
- Architect, create, and validate broadband SPICE models for large-element count (100+ signals), high-frequency (>1 GHz), high-dynamic-range (-80dB) linear time-invariant (LTI) signal chains.
- Design pre-layout models for initial design-space explorations, and later import, simulate, and model the resulting device IC layouts including nominal performance and parasitic extraction.
