- Restorative Aide The Restorative Nursing Assistant provides restorative nursing services that encourage and promote resident's ability to adapt and adjust to living independently as speedily and safely as possible.
- Provides quality care based on the Resident Care Plan. In addition to care and assistance tasks, once trained by physical therapists to perform Restorative Aides assist residents with: active or passive range of motion; splint or brace assistance; scheduled toileting; bladder retraining; transfers to bed mobility; walking, dressing, grooming; eating or swallowing; amputation/prostesis; and communication.
- Provides restorative services including ambulation under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
- Minimal Experience: Experience in geriatric restorative care is preferred.
- Other Qualifications: Completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program and has a current state certification.
