- The Respiratory Care Practitioner Specialist, under direct supervision, serves as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, conducts patient assessments, assists with the development of the plan of care, provides and evaluates general, basic patient care with assistance to an assigned group of patients according to patient specific age and/or developmental needs.
- Three years' experience as a CHLA RCP II, in a neonatal/pediatric ICU.
- Equipment/Machines Used: ECMO Pump, Sat/HCT Monitor, Monitoring Equipment, BP Machine, Medical Gas Cylinders, CPT, Ventilators, 02 and Aerosols, Blood Gas Analyzers, EMR , PC, PYXIS, POC machines, Medical gas, Computers.
- RCP license from the state of California.
- Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
