- The Research Assistant Professor (RAP) position is reserved for highly proficient and productive fellow who is ready to transition to an independent investigator in the next two to three years.
- Specifically for this position, the responsibilities of this particular RAP position include: 1) to perform cutting-edge multi-omics analysis on biospecimens, such as virus-infected cells, tumor tissues from mouse and patients.
- 2) to manage a mass spectrometer that is performed with proficiency and excellence to meet the metabolic and proteomic needs of the Section of Infection and Immunity, including external collaborations.
- 3) to supervise junior trainees in the Section of Infection and Immunity, including research assistants, graduate students and early-stage postdoctoral fellows.
- This highly qualified individual will work closely with the PIs to coordinate major research development in the Section of Infection and Immunity.
