Part-time
- The Mental Health Clinician shall collaborate with the multi-disciplinary treatment team in a psychiatric outpatient clinic settings to improve the health and well-being of pediatric patients and their families through the provision of crisis intervention services, individual, family and group psychotherapy and case management.
- Employees must abide by all Joint Commission Requirements including but not limited to sensitivity to cultural diversity, patient care, patient rights and ethical treatment, safety and security of physical environments, emergency management, teamwork, respect for others, participation in ongoing education and training, communication and adherence to safety and quality programs, sustaining compliance with National Patient Safety Goals, and licensure and health screenings.
- Involves child and adult protective services and law enforcement according to established legal reporting mandates.
- Coordinates with other providers and systems such as primary care providers, schools, community mental health and child welfare to ensure cross-system coordination of care.
- Provides community service information as an outreach worker such as required.
