- Administrative: Supports the leadership team to assure that the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center is meeting all regulatory and accreditation standards; Monitors quality metrics; Makes recommendations for program development; Incorporates best practices; Cross-trains to Prospective Payment Specialist- PPS coordinator responsibilities to provide back up for PPS responsibilities when needed.
- Manages Accreditation & Regulatory Preparedness: Maintains an expert working knowledge of regulatory and accreditation guidelines and serves as a subject matter expert to leaders and teams who are charged with maintaining compliance; Coordinates an annual review/gap analysis related to regulatory and accreditation guidelines and present status report to the leadership team.
- Coordinates Quality Assurance/Process Improvement for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Program: Coordinates Quality Assurance Process Improvement (QAPI) for the Rehabilitation Center and facilitates achievement of rehabilitation center quality objectives.
- Coordinates monthly/quarterly QAPI. Leads the Rehabilitation Center Quality Committee.
- Is the accountable individual over quality assurance and process improvement for the IP Rehab Center.
