- The Regional Emergency and Security Manager is accountable for driving business leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of a regional framework for emergency preparedness and security management systems, transportation safety, governance, and sharing of best practices throughout all business units and operating sites in the US.
- Sets the direction for Americas Region emergency preparedness and security strategies, transportation safety, and continuous improvement to deliver real risk reduction.
- Leads emergency response efforts during significant incidents throughout the Americas Region, mobilizing when prudent, partnering and coordinating as a unified command with Federal, State, and local responding agencies (e.g. FEMA, DHS, Coast Guard, DOT, local fire and police).
- Provides user group forums for the open exchange of relevant information about compliance and best practice sharing for emergency preparedness, security, and transportation EHS fields within the Americas Region and MCG globally.
- Drives continuous improvement in emergency preparedness, security, and transportation EHS performance within the Americas Region and MCG globally by identifying and making available improvement resources, monitoring, and sharing performance metrics among sites, and providing recognition for outstanding performance.
