- The City of Valdez Parks & Recreation Department is hiring a permanent, full-time Recreation Coordinator.
- This position, under supervision of the Recreation Manager,
- will plan, organize, promote, implement, and evaluate community recreation programs, including arts, cultural, and enrichment programming, outdoor and adventure activities, special events, games, sports, camps, classes, and athletic programming; supervise personnel in planning and facilitating recreation activities; assists fellow Recreation Coordinators in completing departmental tasks or other special recreation functions.
- Two (2) years experience programming background in outdoor recreation, special events, and ongoing general recreation activities.
- Prepare annual budget, monitor equipment, and labor expenditures, manage snack bar purchases and resale, procure program and facility supplies and materials
