- Reporting to the managing attorney and working closely with L. Echevarria Law Office staff, the Paralegal plays an integral role in supporting daily real estate and corporate operations.
- Data and Document Preparation and Review: Assist with weekly emails in order to Collect property and town taxes, HOA fees, sewer, engagement letters, cancellation fees, parties contact information.
- Assist in the drafting, editing, and review of legal documents such as purchase agreements, addendums, ALTA statements, leases, deeds, mortgages, HUD-1 statements, cancellation letters, lender’s package and closing documents; ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research on real estate matters, including property laws, zoning regulations, and local ordinances.
- Post-Closing Specialist: Ensure seamless transactions by issuing or amending title policies according to legal standards.
