- The Office of Student Supports and Engagement (OSSE) provides comprehensive supports to help students become more connected to and engaged in school.
- We provide re-engagement services for out-of-school youth; resources to eliminate barriers for students in temporary living situations; attendance and truancy guidance for families, schools, and networks; and extended learning opportunities to enhance all students’ core academic experience while engaging parents and community members in school-led activities.
- The Student Outreach and Re-engagement (SOAR) Center is a cross-agency collaboration focused on the re-engagement of and re-enrollment of chronically truant and out-of-school youth.
- Located within Student Support and Engagement in the Office of College and Career Success (OSSE), the SOAR program is intended to ensure the successful transition and graduation of students who have dropped out of school and desire to re-enroll in a program that will assist them in developing their path to graduation.
- Job Summary: The Re-Engagement Workshop Facilitator will be responsible for providing group and individualized support to students who are disengaged from school.
