- Title: Interventional Radiology SupervisorLocation: Dallas, TX Duration: PermanentShift: AM to PM Job Description:JOB SUMMARY The Interventional Radiology Technologist, under general supervision of a Radiologist, performs interventional radiology (IR) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols.
- JOB SUMMARY The Special Imaging Supervisor is accountable for assisting the Management team in the supervision, planning, organizing and improvement of work processes in one of the various specialty sections of Radiology services, such as CT, MRI, US, IR or Nuclear Medicine as instructed by the Director and/or Radiologist; Performs department orientation, teaches, coaches, supervises staff and performs imaging exams in the modalities that they supervise.
- Assures the organizations vision, mission, values and goals are adhered to and implied Recommends and assists in development of policies and procedures to comply with regulatory organizations and Baylor Scott & White Health philosophy.
- Coordinates and runs groups focusing on patient safety, customer service, performance improvement, environment of Care, Employee Engagement, Physician Engagement, Quality Improvement, Inter-Departmental Relations, etc.
- This can also include LEAN initiatives, S projects, inter-departmental committees, or any professional organization participation, QC assurance with radiologist, etc.
