- As a Radiological Control Technician you will be trained to perform oversight and perform radiological work.
- Perform radiological surveys to support the shipment/receipt of nuclear fuel and/or waste.
- 2 years of college training in mathematics, chemistry, or related science courses, OR vocational school(Radiological Technician programs), OR a Naval Nuclear Operator.
- Experience as a Shipyard Radiological Controls Technician.
- The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
