- In addition to ensuring that internal and external customer requirements are met, the Quality Manager would focus on analyzing and preventing internal and external failures as well as assuring compliance to regulatory standards and ISO certification.
- The Quality Manager will lead an on-going culture of quality, learning and teamwork, geared specifically to the needs of the customers and the long-term sustainability of the business.
- This includes: Development of sampling plans, quality levels and inspection criteria as well as optimal data collection throughout the production cycle, from incoming material to final inspection.
- Conduct warranty reviews, failure analysis, collaborate and drive effective corrective action plans to drive design/manufacturing improvements to reduce warranty and increase customer satisfaction (DOAs, field complaints, systemic issues, warranty parts).
- Direct the activities of the SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer) and Quality Technician, including First Articles, Supplier communication, inspections, SCARs, scorecard quality reporting/trends, development and continuous improvement initiatives.
