- The Quality and Food Safety Manager is responsible for the daily quality control and quality analysis of the Lincoln and Fremont sites inbound/outbound products and ingredients.
- Ensure the processes and systems are adequate to implement, achieve, and maintain 3rd party certifications (i.e., GMP+, SQF, etc.)
- Coordinate usage of and provide support for information technology systems (i.e., Policy Tech, APeCS, GEMINI, etc.)
- Work and connect with the Divisional QC manager (dotted line reporting), the Plant Manager (dotted line reporting) and Superintendent on any quality problems, or issues that arise.
- Provide mentorship on AFEs and Maximo requests that support Food Safety / Quality initiatives
