- Examines and inspects airframe, engines, operating equipment, parts and all sub-systems to ensure repairs, tests and modifications are made according to FAA regulations, government standards and KING AEROSPACE standards to certify airworthiness of all program aircraft.
- Under the direction of the Chief Inspector, the QA Inspector is responsible for ensuring aircraft airworthiness and adherence to FAA regulations as well as KAI standards.
- Accountable for documenting data obtained during all quality assurance activities, inspects all aviation parts and components and paperwork for consistency and accuracy and proper certifications to meet FAA Standards as well as KA policies and procedures.
- Responsible for communicating significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to Chief Inspector and Site Manager.
- Accountable for determining accuracy of installation of components in power plant and hydraulic system to ensure that specified tolerances are met.
