- To effectively manage all aspects of restaurant purchasing including but not limited to purchasing, procurement, and inventory systems.
- Source and develop new vendors, craft negotiation strategies and terms on price, payment, and lead time, and close deals with optimal terms.
- Forecast price, analyze customer buying patterns and market trends to identify and optimize product assortment, pricing as well as changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
- Support various other inventory control activities including, but not limited to, stock adjustments, scrap transactions, credit memos, vendor returns, and vendor chargebacks.
- Minimum three years in purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the food industry.
