- The Procurement and Inventory Specialist purchases products and services using the approved vendor list and works with the Purchasing Manager and other Procurement/Inventory Specialists to assure materials in inventory are shared between sites whenever possible.
- Under minimal supervision, the Procurement and Inventory Specialist leads local inventory management for vehicle maintenance and repair items.
- These functions include inventory receiving, stocking, issuing, kitting, tracking/reporting, and cycle counting.
- Serve as the local liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders; escalate procurement related issues to the yard General Manager and Procurement Manager as appropriate.
- Support all shifts as needed and perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager.
