- The City of Issaquah is looking for the newest members of our talented Public Works Team within the Storm/Sewer Maintenance Division.
- The Storm and Sewer Division owns and operates more than 50 ponds, 6 certified dams, 140 miles of stormwater pipe, 7,500 catch basins, 4 sewer lift stations and 85 miles of sanitary sewer main lines.
- Some of the equipment our team uses on a regular basis for maintenance and repair of these systems are; vacuum/jet truck, bobcat mower, excavator, roadside mower, traffic attenuator, backhoes, loaders, and more!
- Public Works Maintenance Worker: Positions assigned as a Public Works Maintenance Worker range from those developing and learning to those proficient in most tasks associated with the work of the assigned division.
- Movement to the Public Works Senior Maintenance Worker level is dependent upon mastery of complex tasks and equipment, obtainment of all necessary certifications, and demonstration of ability to lead others and create a positive work environment.
