- The California Children's Services (CCS) section of DPH is a statewide program that arranges, directs, and pays for medical care, equipment, and rehabilitation, when these services are authorized for children and young adults under 21 years of age, who have CCS-eligible medical conditions and whose families are unable to pay for all or part of their care.
- Public Health Nurse I must be promoted to journey-level classification upon successful completion of the trainee period (e.g., preceptorship, orientation, and/or certification, as applicable), or be terminated.
