- 5%) Performs related duties as assigned that include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency’s obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or continuity of operations (COOP) activation.
- Knowledge of disease surveillance of antimicrobial resistant organisms, antibiotic stewardship, health care-associated infections (HAI) and preventable adverse events (PAE).
- Certified in infection control (CIC) OR certified within one (1) year of hire date, plus at least 2 years’ work experience in infection prevention or healthcare quality plus Master’s degree in public health or related field
- Relevant doctoral degree (e.g. MD, PhD epidemiologist, DrPH) plus at least 2 years’ work experience in healthcare infection prevention, healthcare quality, or infectious disease epidemiology
