- The major role of a psychologist within the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services is to function as a Healthy Steps Specialist, conduct full assessments and provide short term therapy.
- A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Clinical Health Psychology or Neuro-Psychology; or,
- Two-hundred-and-forty hours of experience, under the supervision of a qualified Psychologist, in each of the following: (1) Personality testing; (2) Individual intelligence testing; and (3) Psychological and/or behavioral intervention.
- However, experience in psychological and/or behavioral intervention may have been under the supervision of a qualified Psychiatrist.
