- This involves working with auditor and financial consultant on lease-up and relocation schedules, cost certification, and project audit; finalizing operating budget; bearing ultimate responsibility for escrow and loan closing process; bearing ultimate responsibility for final payments, compliance, and close-out with financial partners; bearing ultimate responsibility for placed-in-service documentation and submittal process; and leading transition to Asset Management
- Internal Stakeholders: convene and lead internal project team members, including EBALDC Property Management, Asset Management, Commercial Real Estate, Neighborhood Economic Development, Healthy Neighborhoods, and Finance and Accounting staff to maintain continuous input throughout the course of the project and ensure organizational goals are met.
- JV Partners, If Applicable: convene and lead (with oversight from RED Associate Director or Director) in negotiation and management of joint venture or partnership agreements where applicable.
- External Relations: as needed, initiate and coordinate public relations, outreach, and fundraising efforts, including EBALDC representation at community meetings, local and statewide associations, city council, housing committees, planning and zoning committees, and other project- or industry-related events.
- This involves finalizing, refining, and monitoring of the construction budget; preparing, updating and adhering to project timelines and schedules; overseeing the construction process including compliance with local government and lender requirements; and working with Property Management and Resident Services to facilitate affirmative marketing and smooth transition to occupancy
