- The employee gathers information, completes reports, and assists in addressing discrepancies in reporting for the following reports/agencies: AZ Dept. of Transportation, Arizona Dept. of Environmental Quality, Arizona Corporation Commission, Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway (BNSF) and/or the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
- Assists with field sampling and field inspection duties.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related complimentary field, or registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Construction Management and/or engineering experience or specialized training to satisfactorily execute the tasks assigned to this position.
- Working knowledge of modern methods and techniques as applied to the design, engineering, construction, and maintenance of public works facilities such as streets, curb and gutter, drainage, and utilities.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position consistent with City-wide and Division/Section values.
