- Brown and Caldwell, a national environmental engineering firm, has an exciting opportunity for a mid-level project engineer to join our San Diego office to provide engineering and operation support for projects associated with various programs in the area.
- Detailed Description: Perform engineering work in various engineering fields with an emphasis on wastewater and water treatment including design, commissioning, piloting and operations support and design services during construction.
- Lead administrative and project management related tasks for various engineering design projects, including management of subconsultantsInterface directly with Clients, operators and third-party designers and construction managers, present engineering findingsSupport environmental studies, permitting and alternative analysesPerform field activities such as site investigations, and condition assessments.
- Lead project pursuits of small and moderate size Desired Skills and Experience: BS Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical) requiredMS degree in (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical) Engineering preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in the design and/or design services during construction of water/wastewater treatment plants and conveyance systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) in California (Civil or Mechanical), or ability to obtain it within 6 months of hireStrong verbal/written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work well both independently and in team environmentExperience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
