- The Alaska Community Engagement Alliance (AK CEAL) is a new project within the Center for Alaska Native Health Research that addresses rural Alaska Native community priorities to alleviate disparities in cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases and to improve health and wellness outcomes.
- Over an 18-month period of community engagement, the AK CEAL will implement the culturally-based Qungasvik (Tools for Life) intervention in one rural community in southwest Alaska and will collect data on the impacts of the intervention for youth and older adults.
- The AK CEAL Project Director oversees the community engagement, intervention adaptation, pilot implementation and data collection.
- The candidate should possess a Master’s degree in psychology, public health, sociology, social work, counseling, anthropology, education, psychiatric nursing, or a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Noncampus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
