- Job Description : Candidate will serve as the Program Planning & Development Lead Engineer (or Architect) supporting the 355th Civil Engineer Squadron (355 CES) at Davis-Monthan AFB near Tucson, AZ to evaluate, develop, recommend, and gain approval of plans and funding for new construction, renovation, and improvements of real property facilities, to include utility systems.
- Candidate will conduct site/facility surveys to gather preliminary information and validate requirements; solicit and define project stakeholder requirements; evaluate new construction and/or renovation project proposals for feasibility, risks, and economic soundness; develop, advocate for, and be prepared to defend funding and project programming documentation; and assist Government leadership with project programming and prioritization processes.
- The Engineer (or Architect) will use technical knowledge and experience to define and document project technical requirements, develop scopes of work, and create computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) drawings/narratives/briefings to communicate the project to leadership for decision.
- Work will be ON-SITE, embedded and integrated within the client’s organization and work space.
