- The New England AIDS Education and Training Center (NEAETC), hosted by UMass Chan Medical School since 1988, is part of the AIDS Education and Training Center Program funded by the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program of the Health Resources and Services Administration.
- NEAETC provides education and clinical training for providers to diagnose, counsel and care for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, as well as to promote HIV prevention.
- The Program Manager oversees general compliance and federal reporting responsibilities for Massachusetts activities following federal and UMass Chan Office of Sponsored Programs and Office of Continuing Medical Education requirements.
- Convene and provide operational direction to Massachusetts funded project teams, which may consist of data staff, research associates and coordinators, per diem staff, and faculty for the development of project work plans, study designs, literature reviews, analysis plans, and results.
