- The Outreach & Education Program of the Environmental & Occupational Health Division works with individuals, community groups, small businesses, and others to provide education, technical assistance, connection to resources, and other supports to prevent or eliminate adverse health impacts from environmental factors at home, work, school, and in public spaces.
- The Program Coordinator also plays a central role in development of educational materials and conducting community outreach and education
- Cases managed will include, but are not limited to, cases of lead-poisoned children and enforcement of the MA Lead Law, home environmental quality complaints such as mold and pest infestation, and unhealthy workplace environmental conditions.
- Collaborates with various private, state, local and federal agencies, NHC's, and CBOs to further the work of EOH, exchange information, and/or resolve problems.
- Coordinates activities which may include case management documentation; assisting with grant writing; report preparation and writing; and assisting with developing and distributing communications, brochures and educational materials.
