- Teaching responsibilities within the department’s cybersecurity program focus on hands-on experiences for students with technologies that are in high-demand in today’s workforce, including information and network security, internet and data communication, penetration testing, cloud computing and applications, digital forensics, modern enterprise security, and others.
- Qualifications: Minimum qualifications for the professional practice assistant professor level: PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications for the professional practice assistant professor level: Strong record of student mentoring.
- Minimum and preferred qualifications for the professional practice associate professor level include those listed for the professional practice assistant professor level and also include: At least five years of applied professional cybersecurity experience within business, marketing, finance, or the public sector.
