For more information, please visit www.lggindustrial.com About This Opportunity Role Profile Position: Production Technician Job Location: Norwalk, CA Job Type: Full-Time Status: Non-Exempt Schedule: Day Shift, M-F Summary of the Role This position is responsible for a variety of tasks that are manufacturing or distribution based and may include assembling and manufacturing sales orders, picking product from the warehouse, shipping and receiving. Responsibilities <ul><li>Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures. </li><li>Assembles products to company, customer and manufacturer’s standards</li><li>Performs all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction</li><li>Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse. </li><li>Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping</li><li>Operates mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable)</li><li>Assists with physical inventory</li><li>Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements</li><li>Performs other related duties as required </li></ul>Skills And Abilities <ul><li>Applicants should possess the ability to interact with team members in a professional manner. </li><li>Must have good communication skills</li><li>Requires basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure. </li><li>Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools. </li><li>Basic computer skills preferred, including email and internet </li></ul>Minimum Qualifications <ul><li>Must be 18 years of age or older</li><li>1-3 years of related warehousing or production experience</li><li>A high school diploma or GED</li><li>Reliable transportation is a must</li><li>Ability to work overtime, as required</li><li>Ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs independently on a repeated basis. </li><li>Ability to consistently move throughout the facility during the full workday</li><li>Ability to comprehend work instruction and safety procedures, written or verbally</li><li>Ability to count and measure accurately </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Industrial setting experience </li></ul>Total Rewards <ul><li>Competitive compensation plan, with a bonus potential of 5% of salary</li><li>Health Benefits: medical, dental, vision, short term and long-term disability – available 1st of month following the date of hire</li><li>401k with company match</li><li>Paid vacation, holidays and sick time </li></ul>Salary Range: $36,000 - $47840 Equal Opportunity Employer We're an equal opportunity employer.
