Responsibilities: Collaborate with purchasing, production, and shipping/receiving departments to ascertain the delivery schedules of purchased components necessary for subassemblies and finished products. Develop, coordinate, and streamline the manufacturing process for finished goods, subassemblies, or components. Implement production strategies that optimize inventory levels and production rates to ensure peak performance and minimal delays. Oversee production progression and proactively address delays by expediting material shipments or revising production schedules to accommodate labor shortages or other production constraints. Work with engineering and production teams to determine the sequential order for manufacturing and assembly tasks. Analyze, monitor, and report on the efficiency of the production schedule, leveraging data from material and production control systems.
