Job Title: Product Development Coordinator- Beauty/Fragrance/CosmeticsLocation: Manhattan, NY, 10038  Duration: 3 Months   Job Type: Contract      Work Type: OnsitePayrate: $24/hr   Job Description:RESPONSIBILITIES: Product & Fragrance Development  <ul><li>Partner with manager on the development of product and fragrances; help brainstorm new ideas  </li><li>Ownership over low complexity programs including timeline management and execution with vendors  </li><li>Owns communication on programs with fragrance houses and contract manufacturers  </li><li>Distribute samples to team and brand for evaluation  </li><li>Manage, organize and maintain the product closets and libraries  </li><li>Responsible for following up with vendors  </li><li>Manage the execution and processing of systems workflow  </li><li>Assist and support set-up for evaluation meetings and presentations  </li><li>Provide sampling support for consumer testing  </li><li>Join teams to support on-site development (i.e contract fillers, fragrance houses)  </li><li>Track base & fragrance submissions; participate with team in submission evaluation  </li><li>Learn fundamentals of product and fragrance development  </li><li>Research market trends for fragrance and pattern for innovative forms  </li></ul>Category & Market Expertise (Including: Internal, External, Libraries, Other)  <ul><li>Data entry and maintenance of competitive information, inclusive of databases, library, and reporting  </li><li>Purchase competitive products as directed  </li><li>Develop exposure and awareness to brand and relevant competitive store environments </li></ul>Data Management/Reporting  <ul><li>Update reports and systems accurately  </li><li>Gain exposure to the fragrance house and vendor brief process  </li><li>Begin to build understanding of end-to-end work flow process and development milestones  </li></ul>Cross Functional Support/Relationship Building  <ul><li>Build cross functional relationships with internal peers both across Mast Global and with the brand  </li><li>Initiate and maintain professional relationships with external vendors  </li></ul>Talent Management/Development  <ul><li>Identify continuous learning opportunities for own development  </li><li>Introduction to product and fragrance functional fundamentals, including vocabulary </li></ul>
