- The Process Safety Specialist is responsible conducting process safety evaluations to support the process development, kilo lab and plant scale manufacturing groups.
- The role requires knowledge of specialized concepts in the areas of process safety including the physical testing of chemical reactions and materials using calorimetry, performing desktop calculations/evaluations based on model compounds/processes, and analyzing data to assess the severity of known hazards and provide suggestions for mitigation.
- The role will support the Process Safety Risk Management (PSRM) team by generating reports through research, testing, and data analysis.
- To lead and support the Organometallics business in reaction and process safety: design studies to establish and quantify reaction hazards, their control and relief case identification.
