<p>What you'll do:</p>
<p>You will manage manufacturing and facilities improvements for Array sites and will help improve facility processes, equipment performance and reliability. The ideal candidate is a driven and hands-on leader, who can collaborate with the team and cross-functionally drive initiative and ensure we enhance our manufacturing processes throughout the entire supply chain. The successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to meet the qualifications required to perform this job successfully:</p>
<ul>
<li>Utilize Lean manufacturing and project management techniques/tools to identify and implement manufacturing process efficiency improvements and eliminate waste.</li>
<li>Lead and support activities for outsourcing the production of Array made parts to suppliers to improve security of supply using manufacturing expertise.</li>
<li>Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors of Facilities and Production equipment.</li>
<li>Lead and support efforts in implementing new procedures to improve company manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.</li>
<li>Review maintenance data to evaluate when equipment should be upgraded or replaced.</li>
<li>Ownership of facility layout to optimize lean production flow.</li>
<li>Lead and support the New Product Introduction team by utilizing Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly skills and expertise.</li>
<li>Lead and support improvements through automation and a process approach for efficiency.</li>
<li>Ensure root causes are found and robust corrective and preventive actions are taken by bringing extensive product experience and mechanical aptitudes to bear upon updating blueprints or procedures/processes/WI's/FMEA's/ Control plans and other relevant documents (such as closure of 8D's or QN's).</li>
<li>Communicate solutions across Production, Engineering, AOS, Quality, Supply Chain and with other departmental teams as required.</li>
<li>Provide manufacturing expertise and cross-functional support with internal stakeholders including Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality Teams.</li>
<li>Effective internal communications to escalate when appropriate and ensure management team is aware.</li>
<li>Actively maintain current product knowledge and requirements to ensure accurate data is communicated and mentored to management and production personnel</li>
<li>Manage, coordinate, and implement building security programs at all Array owned and/or leased facilities.</li>
<li>Ensure security/utility systems are inspected and in accordance with regulations</li>
<li>Manage and coordinate all 3rd parties that support the sites and support negotiations as needed.</li>
<li>Provide technical support to managers cross functionally.</li>
<li>Supports operational compliance to applicable standards and laws.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively on a technical level and across organizational line.</li>
<li>This position may require occasional evening and weekend hours.</li>
<li>Travel 5-20%.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<h3>The qualifications you must have</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing engineering or similar or equivalent work experience</li>
<li>Prior tool and die experience required.</li>
<li>Prior metal (aluminum and steel) fabrication required.</li>
<li>7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment</li>
<li>7+ years of technical experience in a manufacturing setting, including machining, assembly, and other manufacturing processes</li>
<li>5+ years of demonstrated proficiency in setting up and operating Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) machines for precise metal cutting, milling, and shaping according to engineering specifications</li>
<li>5+ years of analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues in automated processes</li>
<li>5+ years of hands-on experience in metal stamping processes, including die setup, adjustment, and maintenance, to produce accurately stamped components</li>
<li>5+ years of experience identifying opportunities for process improvements, implement changes, and optimize metal processing workflows for increased efficiency</li>
<li>3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite</li>
<li>3+ years of experience reading drawings and understanding product testing requirements</li>
<li>2+ years of problem-solving experience with respect to process issues identified</li>
</ul>
<h3>Our preferred qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP</li>
<li>Strong Knowledge and proven application success of Lean Six Sigma</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously</li>
<li>Must be able to act and make critical decisions independently</li>

<li>We do require you to complete a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) to make sure you are physically capable of performing the work. This must be completed prior to starting.</li>

<li>If your role requires the wearing of steel-toed boots, the company will reimburse employees $50 per pair every two years.</li>
