- The Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical subject matter expert (SME) support to numerous functional groups for existing and newly proposed midstream gas/oil/water processing facilities, field gathering (i.e. compressor stations and booster pump stations), and pipeline operations.
- Expertise in process modeling simulation software and the ability to understand technical details of midstream operations from a field-wide (macro) level down to an equipment/instrument component (i.e. micro) level is essential.
- 5+ years’ work experience in a natural gas industry engineering function (other experience levels will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
- Competency in at least one computer process simulation software package (Hysys, Unisim, ProMax, Symmetry, and/or Protreat).
- Expertise in creating and evaluating the following PSI documents/evaluations: BFDs, PFDs, HMBs, P&IDs, equipment lists, line lists, cause and effect diagrams, plot plans, control narratives, process calculations (hydraulics, equipment sizing, vessel sizing, PSV sizing), flare evaluations, etc.
