- They also perform preventive maintenance, provide technical assistance for solving reliability issues, assist with production equipment upgrades and rebuilds, and fabricate, modify, assemble, and repair a variety of production components/assemblies/systems utilizing various machining and metal fabricating equipment and tools.
- Ensures strict conformance to all applicable electrical codes & OSHA safety requirements for facility and production equipment, as well as Company safety guidelines.
- Acts as a problem solving & continuous improvement resource for PLC programming, variable speed drives, electrical & pneumatic controls, mechanical systems, etc.
- Provides input to preventive & predictive maintenance efforts to improve overall equipment reliability.
- Capable of interpreting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, & mechanical schematics for troubleshooting
