- Job Description A Postdoctoral Associate position is available within the Amanda Morris research group to support our recently awarded Commonwealth Health Research Board program and an existing National Science Foundation program.
- The work involves the preparation and photo(electro)chemical characterization of molecularly modified titania surfaces for applications in photocatalysis and quantum sciences and photoinduced drug delivery from metal organic framework cages.
- The projects will involve small molecule synthesis (inorganic and organic), metal organic framework synthesis, photolysis measurements, and potential biological work in collaboration with other groups.
- Characterization techniques such as NMR, powder X-ray diffraction, thermogravametric analysis, scanning electron microscopy, cyclic voltammetry, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and transient laser spectroscopy will be components of the work.
- Required Qualifications -Ph. D. in Chemistry or an appropriate related field.
