- The Radiation Oncology Post doc will actively participate in an educational experience in Radiation Oncology Physics to promote acquisition of knowledge and skills in this specialty.
- Post Doc will understand the principles of CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Angiography, Ultrasound, Nuclear medicine imaging, Combined modality imaging (PET/CT, SPECT/CT, etc.)
- Linear accelerator portal imaging, Linear accelerator kV imaging, Cone beam CT, 4D CT acquisition and handling, Gating, etc.
- For CT-based virtual simulators, the Post Doc must obtain a level of knowledge that permits him/her to carry out an acceptance test protocol (ATP) and implement a quality assurance program on an appropriate schedule.
- Post Doc will be familiar with IMRT delivery mechanisms, including Sliding window MLC IMRT, Step and shoot MLC IMRT, Volumetric Arc Therapy (VMAT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT).
