- Our Vision for Social Justice at Solano Community College includes increasing our community's knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and to apply these principles in our work to honor and empower our students equitably.
- Our focus is to increase the number of Latinx, BIPOC, and Indigenous/Native American students who complete a degree, certificate, and/or transfer to a four-year college or university.
- Current efforts toward equity include the Puente Project, Students Overcoming Adversity and Recidivism (SOAR), DREAMER support and resources, the Foster Youth Initiative, Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS), and our Veterans Center.
- This part-time Political Science instructor will teach a variety of Political Science courses, as assigned, on topics such as American Government, Constitutional Rights, the American Legal System, Political Philosophy and International and Comparative Politics for the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
