- Under the direction of the Team or Clinic Manager, the Physical Therapist administers physical therapy in accordance with state law regarding the practice of physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- The Physical Therapist must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served by his/her department – pediatric through geriatric.
- The Physical Therapist must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span; possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status; interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs; and to provide the care needed as described in the Outpatient and Physical Therapy policies and procedures.
- Type of supervision exercised: functional supervision of PTA's and support personnel during clinical activities.
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from a school of Physical Therapy approved in the year of graduation by the American Physical Therapy Association preferred.
