- The Neurological Residency Program is a joint venture between Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Belmont University and is designed to prepare the resident to sit for the Neurological Clinical Specialist (NCS) examination.
- PBPRI is the outpatient interdisciplinary neurological rehabilitation program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
- In this dynamic environment, Physical Therapists work as a team with colleagues in occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and social work to promote community re-entry, and vocational and/or academic transitioning for the patients at PBPRI. Practice within the seating and mobility clinic involves collaboration with credentialed suppliers of seating and mobility devices and collaboration with multidisciplinary clinics
- At PBPRI, the resident will evaluate and treat patients with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions including traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, falls risk, and vestibular disorders.
