- We have a Occupational Therapist opportunity open now doing home health visits in Senior Living communities in the Staunton/Charlottesville, VA area.
- This position is to service seniors under their home health benefit but within a few ALF/ILF communities only – it’s home health without the typical home health commute!
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as the mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments.
- Implement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair utilizing evidence-based dressings and topical agents Qualifications for a PT - Physical Therapist include: A current VA Physical Therapist - PT license.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist - PT.Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
