- Under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (“PTA”) evaluates and treats patients/residents, communicates with their families, physicians, and other health team members, and maintains all necessary documentation of services in the patient’s medical records.
- We provide physical, speech, and occupational therapy services in various long-term care, skilled nursing, and acute care facilities.
- Secure necessary durable medical equipment (e.g., orthoses, walkers, canes elevated toilet seats, and grab bars) for patients to facilitate independent mobility
- These physical and mental demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the PTA. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of the PTA.
