Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility based in Clifton NJ 07012. This is a Contract job with possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Location: Clifton NJ 07012Job Type: 3 months - W2 contract - with possible extension Schedule: Schedule Mon 9a-7p, Tues 8:30a-5p, Wed 7a-4p, Fri 8:30a-4p Pay Range: $18-$21 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) Responsibilities:<ul><li>Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.</li><li>Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.</li><li>Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required.</li><li>Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.</li><li>Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.</li><li>Package specimens for transport.</li><li>Stores specimen sample according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection container/ tube, accurately labels, follows different procedures as outlined by specific to protocol deemed necessary for transport to maintain integrity of the specimen.</li></ul> Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED is required.Minimum 2yrs of phlebotomy experience is required. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
