- Under general supervision and according to specified procedures, performs routine laboratory activities such as patient receiving, venipuncture, computer data entry, and other related duties including lab clinical functions.
- EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Basic knowledge such as acquired through completion of high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Completion of Medical Assistant or Certified Phlebotomy training program preferred.
- 6 months to one year on the job experience in venipuncture required.
- Phlebotomists who are required to float between clinics must have a valid, unrestricted Michigan Driver's license and the ability to be insured by a Client's Insurance Carrier.
