- The Pharmacy Buyer acts as a coordinator for the purchase of pharmaceuticals; maintains efficient system(s) for ordering, receiving, managing and reconciling discrepancies in inventory; minimizes standing inventory with appropriate turn-over to avoid out-dating; maintains an adequate, cost-effective supply of drugs.
- Upon hire: In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) background check is required for this position.
- 3 years Pharmacy technician experience in retail or institutional pharmacy practice.
- The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
