- The Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist is responsible for compassionate and appropriate care while performing Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures under the direction of a physician to assist in the medical diagnosis or treatment of a patient.
- This position is used in facilities that consistently and regularly perform PET/CT exams.
- Proficiently and independently performs PET/CT exams in a fixed or mobile setting.
- Complies with processes and guidelines for receiving, documenting, handling, and administration of PET/CT isotopes (i.e. FDG).
- Appropriately handles all phases of image interaction, including quality image production, manipulation, fusion, transmission to PACS and workstations, and storage.
