- The Emory + Children’s Pediatric Institute, in collaboration with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is seeking one full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist (1.0 FTE) in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Neurology.
- This neuropsychologist will conduct outpatient evaluations as well as support our epilepsy team, predominantly at the Scottish Rite campus.
- The Department of Neuropsychology at CHOA is one of the largest in the Southeast region.
- The Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) is located on the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite campus.
- Common diagnoses seen in our department include acquired injuries (e.g., TBI, spinal cord injury, anoxic brain injury, stroke, abusive head trauma [AHT]), new onset illness (e.g., meningitis/encephalitis, brain tumors), congenital heart disease, as well as various neurodevelopmental and chronic neurological conditions (e.g., cerebral palsy, spina bifida, intractable epilepsy).
