Description Welcome to the Family Health Center in Santa Monica! Our Family Medicine clinic provides a wide range of primary care services for people of all ages and all backgrounds. Our department has a unique relationship with LA County's Health Agency to provide care to under-resourced communities, and we have also forged strong partnerships with the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and UCLA Athletics.
We are looking for a friendly and eloquent candidate to provide administrative assistance at the Family Health Center clinic. As a Patient Support Representative, you will work at the clinic's front desk and be the first point of contact for patients, as well as work behind the scenes where you facilitate the communication between providers and patients to ensure needs are being met. In this role, you will work closely with physicians, residents, fellows, and other medical and administrative staff to provide the best patient care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Check-in patients upon arrival
* Process co-payments
* Respond or route inbox messages to clinic providers
* Assist in the coordination of referrals and authorizations
* Call patients to schedule appointments
* Obtain and verify insurance information
* Provide clerical assistance
* Answer questions about billing
Salary Range: $28.23-40.44 Hourly
